Evidence may include medical records, photographs of injuries, WhatsApp chats, emails, audio or video recordings, bank statements, property documents, police complaints, the Domestic Incident Report (DIR), and the testimony of witnesses.

Since domestic violence often occurs within the home, the court considers all relevant evidence and decides each case on its own facts.
